Pitchers dropping like flies. Nothing different than any other season IMO 4 guys in 2 days seems like quite a bit to me & well above average.

No way you can prove it has anything to do with a shortened season. Guys get lost in ST and the start of seasons all the time.

Typically we might see a star pitcher go down every month but this is amazing of late.. Otani, Soroko & Rodon for starters & closer Osuna and Rangers closer Lecrerc is a substantial amount of top guys to go so close together. I'm not saying this is because of the short season but if you add in the other TOR starters in Verlander, Kluber & Kershaw that is a TON of Ace guys being lost..

Soroko was a freak plant and run injury, not arm related. The other 2 are coming off major injuries. IMO I don't think it has anything to do with this being a shortened season. Guys admitted they had already been working during the shut down, they didn't come in cold.

Kershaw missed time with a bad back, right? Pretty sure that's been a lingering issue with him for a while.

Soroka was a freak type injury and when ISN'T Rodon hurt ? Same for Ohtani, always hurt I think this is just some "carry over" from his TJ surgery last year so probably not fair to say he is always hurt just yet but that may turn out to be true. We'll see

We've got a trade!!! Mets get RHP Ariel Jurado Rangers get PTBNL and cash I think most of the trades that have happened have involved a PTBNL. Maybe to lessen the risk but who really knows.
