Lots of Soto talk going on with Ken Rosenthal reporting that the bidding for Soto has reached atleast 600 million with all 5 teams reportedly making offers over 600 RedSox. Mets, Yankees, Dodgers, BlueJays.
RedSox said to be making a serious push and the Blue Jays possibly offering the most but probably not landing him.
I hope he ends up in Boston.

I’m sorry, but the Cubs should be all in on this. It just irritates me that they won’t try to truly impact the team. If Soto came to Chicago, he and Caleb Williams and Conner Bedard would own this city.

I don't know if any baseball player is worth almost 50 million a year not named Ohtani and Ohtani is 2 players in one. Boston supposedly has offered him a 13 year 635 million deal , that's almost 49 million a year , that's a high pct of a teams payroll for one player to take up. I mean the Yankees had him, Judge, Cole and they couldn't win the WS. But then when I think about it , would I rather have Soto on the Cubs or Taillon, Boyd and Happ who's luxury tax yearly combined hit is 51 million , I'd take Soto in a heartbeat
