Well we all know the Mendoza line is at .200. They need to recognize the Bergen line at .170. With batting averages going lower, this could have some relevance.

each day gonna post something from baseball history that I find fascinating. so on this date May 1st 1920. how would you like to pitch 26 innings and earn a no decision. this would never happen in this day and age when pitchers don't go past 6 innings. Here we got two pitchers went 26 innings pitched and got no decision Or be a batter in same game and go 0/11. wondering how many pitches were thrown by both of them? The longest game ever played ends after 26 innings in a 1-1 tie, with Brooklyn Robin right-hander Leon Cadore and the Braves hurler Joe Oeschger, also right-handed, both go the distance for their respective clubs. Boston third baseman Charlie Pick establishes the major league record for hitless at-bats in one game, going 0-for-11 in the marathon. Brooklyn Robin had 1 run on 9 hits and 2 errors. Boston Braves had 1 run on 15 hits and 2 errors . Not history but historical. AFL is requiring ALL players be vaccinated this year to play..
