Irregular heartbeat. Had an operation in Chicago Monday. I've dealt with the same thing for over 10 years. The ablation should take care of it. Good to hear. Anything heart related is spooky.

Sure is spooky , unfortunately in my case my heart was too weak to attempt an ablation so I was given a pacemaker 3 years ago. Two months ago for the first time I was zapped by it , I had drifted into A-FIB which is what Wieck was dealing with , but a rapid level which is dangerous . I had felt off that day thinking I was in A-Fib which my medication usually keeps me out of. I was walking down the front stairs to go to my car and I felt like I got hit by lightning, I swear I saw a flash out of corner of my left eye and it hurt like hell. It took me a minute to realize what had happened, I had gotten zapped back into normal rhythm and immediately felt better but was scared shitless. Having an ablation done , Weick should not need medication or if he does minimal. This is what Kenley Jansens deals with , DeRosa also went through it his last season with the Cubs.

Just falling from a standing position can sometimes do a lot of damage. I sprained my wrist falling on ice last winter.

That would not be good at all.. My brother was the GM of a company that manufactures those things along with a bunch of other related medical equipment & I took a tour of their plant on a Saturday when they were closed but we couldn't go in that "white room" where they are produced. Some wild stuff. Well now you know the "feeling" right before hand so sadly it might help you prepare if that is even possible.

Morrow seems to be so fragile now that if you snap him with a towel, he's DLed. Which is why they don't do towel drills any more. Flashbacks of mark prior in my mind Why did I have a wry smirk on my face when I heard on the broadcast that he's now the Dodgers' pitching coach?
He's 39 now. Booooooyyyyeeeee do I feel old.

I had drifted back into A-Fib a couple of times prior to the incident and I can usually feel it , you get a shortness of breath and tire easily when walking around . But within a day on those other occasions I was back to normal rhythm so I did not think much of it that day until I got zapped.

But it seems every day one thing or another has to hurt. Since I hit 50 I don't think there has been a day that's gone by when something did not hurt. Living in pain , but at least it's living.

Better news on Manny than I thought we would hear. I was thinking TJ surgery for sure, the way it all went down. Probaly going to miss the 2-3 months of the season but could of been a lot worse.
