I don't consider the home-road a trend when it covers 3 different home parks. Considerif none of the 3 are considered pitcher parks, that should support it even more. It also shows it isn't about the park, but a comfort level of being at home that is a driving factor

...Lester has a 2.29 ERA. Barring some sort of collapse in the second half, it's basically locked in that the 1-2 will be Arrieta-Lester. But you aren't looking at all of the factors. Lester has a 2.05 ERA at home, 2.84 ERA on the road. Lackey has a 1.96 ERA at home, 4.55 ERA on the road. So if you have the choice of having Lacket at home and Lester on the road, why wouldn't you do that? I think you're reading WAY too much into that. That's because of two bad early season starts on the road. An ERA of 9.00 in one game this year at Chase Field and an ERA of 9.53 in one game at Great American Ballpark this year. Everything else is fine. 6 starts at Wrigley 1.66 ERA, 2 starts at Busch Stadium 1.93 ERA, 1 start at Miller Park 1.50 ERA. To use those 2 starts to indicate some kind of trend is just flat out misleading.

Considering his home park has been different the last 3 seasons, no I am not concerned about any trend. So a guy has a trend for 3.5 years and you suddenly think it will change? Based on what? Read some more posts in this thread and saw this so I went through and looked, it still doesn't appear to be a trend, moreso it seems he doesn't fare well in certain ballparks. GABP is one of his worst and I don't think the Reds are gonna be an issue we need to deal with in the postseason. The only ballparks of those we could face in the postseason, without sitting here and nitpicking over that numbers, that appeared to be of issue is maybe Nationals Park and Kauffman. Yankee Stadium is definitely an issue if somehow the Yanks make it to the Series but I don't see that happening.
