Not sure what the 2 win difference means. Yes Javy won't be, and no they didn't get hot when Javy got hurt. The Tigers went 31-22 in July and August, Javy was playing. <<Not sure what the 2 win difference means.>> Then I'm not going to bother with an explanation. It's not hard to figure out.

The crazy thing is they expected to be contending, and at the trade deadline weren't, so they moved off of Flaherty, Canha, Chafin and Carson Kelly, and still got hot. Crazy turnaround. Guys just relaxed. Javy had a much better July and August, still not great, but was playing great defense too. The Tigers have the Rays and White Sox (9-1 this season) to wrap up the season. They have a great chance to get in. Just stop. Javy July .159 avg .213 obp .386 slg .589 ops August was better but still sucked bigtime .214 avg .283 obp .405 slg .687 ops And right before the Cubs series he was about to lose his everyday job when they called up their future SS.

He may have played his last game with the Tigers because I see them trading him this winter & eating 95% of his remaining 3 years & 73 million just to be done. Sad but not totally unexpected.

He needs a fresh start with another team so it will be for the best and hopefully the bad hip had something to do with his free fall from grace. I hope he can turn things around , I still really like him a lot and it was painful to watch him play these last couple seasons.

Lol, that's like saying dog shit tastes better than cat shit. when you post up a .244 slg and a .451 and a .190 OPS it's hard not to be better. His numbers still sucked, it has nothing to do with me liking to argue.

Like I said, the Tigers were already playing good before Javy got hurt, 31-22. Not sure how this turned in to Javy stats. Just you arguing like always

A Padre sweep over the Dodgers would give them the division lead with 3 games left. The Padres turned a triple play in the 9th inning to beat the Dodgers 4-2 in the first game of the series.
