Yeah, I went back and looked again. It do look like a 1B mitt. My bad. Ha, no worries. My inner glove nerd came out for a second there. "Glove nerd" -- LOVE IT.
Ah, memories! Back when I first started playing baseball in the late 1950s (with the boys), the only glove I had was an old adult's first baseman's glove (just a LITTLE bit big for a 9-year-old). Don't think I ever used it for first base, though -- not enough people, so it was always "pitcher's hand out."

1 week away from official start to spring training. 2 weeks & 2 days away from 1st spring training game And just in time, because as of this week, I now have high-speed unlimited internet. There's a helluva lot of difference between 1-8 mbs and 80 ms lag time and 180 mbs and 31 ms.
And I'll have fun, fun, fun now with Elon's Starlink satellite array . . .

Had no idea what it was, was a little alarming to see so many lights moving in tandem all at once.

Waiting it out is a huge bargaining chip.

I'm bummed about that, but it's been 9 years since I've had something even close to reasonable, and I'm tired of watching Cub games on my cell phone and fighting tooth and nail to get local "authorities" to do something about this neglected part of the county.

Looks like all the ST games will be broadcast on marquee or mlb network
Oh, and I saw that the cheapest tickets for the 2nd and 3rd games of the regular season at wrigley are as low at $4. Ofcourse that's a restricted view seat, but there's gonna be enough empty seats around to move to another spot at the game. What a price (to watch your beloved baseball team whilst freezing your respective man/lady parts off)
