especially considering you can't trade players on the DL Yea you can. It requires approval by the commisioners office and both teams to agree and sign they accept the risk but it is allowed.

I just saw this on mlbtraderumors site "The Cubs wouldn’t trade Kyle Schwarber for Andrew Miller, a source tells Joel Sherman of the New York Post. Sherman pegs the Yankees and Cubs as good trade partners given Chicago’s possible weakness in the back of the bullpen and New York’s need for young position player talent. Schwarber, of course, is out of action until 2017 after undergoing season-ending surgery in early April but is still one of the game’s most highly-touted young sluggers."

Schwarber for a 31 year old set up man.....really? What, the Yanks should just deal him for Strasburg instead?

Its funny to see the yankees fans' comments.....they wouldn't want Schwarber for him......they are stupid.

This "he's a DH" narrative is still asinine to me. The guy makes a few bad plays in a playoff game at a new position and all of a sudden he's the worst outfielder in baseball? The guy also isn't 6 ft. and 250. He doesn't look like Giancarlo Stanton but he's a pretty solid 230 lbs or so. People act like he's some fat dude running around in the outfield and tripping over himself.
