Same here, really liked the guy when he came back and followed him in the minors, his K/BB ratio is nuts. I thought it was ridiculous people wanted to trade him for a young quality starter, when he is a young quality starter. Also, as Batman said, he doesn't have overpowering stuff, so he won't be an injury concern. Plus with his style, similar to Maddux's, it relies heavily on pitch selection and location which takes a little longer to develop. Last year his problem was leaving his fastball up too high and now it's breaking down and he isn't leaving it high in zone. Being such an intelligent player that is a great student of the game, continuing to analyze himself and others, I think he will continue to get better and become a TOR type pitcher. Maybe not an Ace, but a very good 2-3 starter, Doesn't Kyle have a degree from an Ivy League school, too? I know Jake refers to Kyle on Twitter as "the professor." Yes he does, he went to Dartmouth.

I just don't get the hate Kyle gets. I mean, he isn't going to blow guys away, but he is going to keep you in games and take the ball every fifth day. You forgot that Casey Coleman is obviously better. Different board but I still have to remind you of stuff like this. I always forget that and the fact that Tyler Colvin was a real slugger.
