Maeda is going for the Dodgers on Saturday against the Mutts, and Kershaw on Sunday. That means, barring rainouts, we miss both of them, and we also miss the Phils' ace Nola. It's about time we started getting some Cardinal-like breaks when it comes to missing other teams' aces.

Unless the Dodgers have a 6 man rotation that I'm not aware of; Cubs face Maeda in the 4th game of the series next Thursday.

I just read they are bringing up their top pitching prospect Urias..he is supposed to pitch tomorrow and Wood will be pushed back to Monday...So we should see Wood, Kazmir, Bolsinger and Maeda..

But I also don't have a problem with our guys getting "seasoned" against top notch pitching. You gotta beat the best pitchers eventually, might as well get some AB's against quality pitching.

Cubs have beaten the best, but now can they beat the lower tier pitcher. They have been more of a problem to the Cubs then the best .

You make your own luck.
The Cubs have beat Greinke, Iglesias, Cole, Scherzer, Liriano, Wacha and Martinez this year already.
I'm not worried about their ability to beat the games best because they've already been doing it. They're a good team whether people want to acknowledge it or not.
