It seems the aesthetics & font plus colors are really ugly, not pleasing at all to the eyes.
But Swanson seems ok with it:

Images and opinions have been abundant all week in this issue. I haven’t felt one but I totally agree visually they look cheaper. Removal of the cross-stitching around the letters and numbers, weird font sizes, not getting the color palettes right. These look like t-shirts, not jersey quality.

See thru - same problem with white tennis shorts (the older you are, the whiter your tennis clothes are, apparently). Why would they make athletic shorts that are see thru? Is this the male version of yoga pants (aka bootybritches, leggings, whatever you call them)? And why are these guys not wearing protective cups? I don't need to see defined junk like that.

The player names look comically small and while it’d be easy to chalk the shade of blue looking different due to lighting it unfortunately is that bad. 🤮 is right. |
