Mets being investigated for improper use of the Injured List. YES. ROAST THE METS Strip them of draft picks and international bonus money. Take all sorts of things from them. I say this knowing nothing about what they may or may not have done wrong. I just hate the Mets.

This is the 4th Mets GM in the past 5 years to have some kind of scandel/issue.

Blue Jays will just replace Belt with Votto. I’m glad he’s sticking around. I never liked it much when he was clobbering our Cubs for so many years but I’ve always loved the personality and talent. More Votto is a good thing for me.

More Votto is a good thing for me. I used to hate him and think he was the ultimate tool but once I got to know his personality and that he puts on an act to play a villian on purpose just to basicaslly amuse himself , he has a very dry sense of humor he's been one of my favorite non Cubs so good to see him keep playing.

White Sox interested in Salvador Perez and Whit Merrifield.
Conspiracy theory time
Royals are circumventing all the relocation fees by moving all their players and managers to Chicago 1 person at a time.

Woodruff out for most of 2024 season if not all of the 2024 season. He will be a free agent in 2025.
Some speculation that the Brewers might “blow-up” their team and go into a full rebuild.

That one hurts. Burnes in the final year of his contract I think, reard some speculation that they might look to flip him this off-season. They’ve already got a great farm, maybe time for a total organization reset with the changing of the guard with Stearns and Counsel heading out coupled with the above news.

Burnes was pissed at them last winter over his contract so pretty much no chance he's going to want to stay and Adames is a free agent after next season and I'm sure he will be gone too.' Yelich had a solid bouncebacl year so maybe they attempt to move him while they can. If they are going to rebuild why be paying one guy 24 million a year who probably doesn't want to go through a rebuild. If the Yankees don't sign Bellinger, I could see them going after Yelich in a trade.

Unless the Padres felt they needed a new clubhouse leader following their massively disappointing 2023, this really alludes to them cost cutting. If that’s the case I’m talking both Kim and Soto. Either would be very welcome here.
