Steele is now tied for most wins, has the highest winning percentage, leads in Adjusted ERA+ and is a close second to Snell in ERA something like .05 difference (Snell playing in the most pitcher friendly park in mlb should be considered here). I'd say, right now, he would have a great shot. Let's see where he is at in a month.

He's been nails against some of the bestcplayoff teams. The performance last night has to elevate him to top 2 in the Cy Young horse race.
Let's see what happens.

Steele will really have to pitch lights out his last 2 starts to have even a puncher's chance. In the end I don't think he gets it but top 5 is good for me.

Way too much love I'm seeing lately in the media for Strider and his strike out totals so I don't think Steele even finished top 2 or 3 , but I think Snell nailed it down last night with 7 no hit innings and lowered his ERA to 2.33. My guess is Snell Strider Gallen Steele

Welp, we can wrap this thread up. Heck of a season for Steele though.

Welp, we can wrap this thread up. Heck of a season for Steele though. Even before last night I think Snell and his 7 no hit innings lowering his ERA into the 2.20's cemented it , although I'm seeing way to much talk about Strider because of his strike outs, but since when are strike out totals more important than run prevention ?

But 3 for Snell? That is surprising but it's the direction the game is going.
