Saturday morning Jason will have a MRI. "Dull ache" rather than sharp pains. Doesn't sound bad but doesn't sound great. No word on if day to day or dl as of yet.

No apparent neck head or collarbone injury. "Nothing's broken God looked out for me." So just some muscle pains so far.

I have a feeling that he will not see any DL time. (I am a very optimistic person:) )

hopefully he just 'stretched' some rib cage muscles and he only misses a few days. What an incredible catch though huh? That's gold right there Jerry...
nice bounce back W after scuffling in Brewtown too.... much needed.

Just watched the replay of J-Heys catch and crash. What a play! IMO, its doubtfull he goes on the DL. Probably misses the next couple of games though. Hoping for a " clean " MRI.

I think he miss a few games. Nothing broken, but he will probably be sore for a while. Maybe, 15 day DL at most.

I saw him heading fill speed for that wall and started thinking he was going o break his neck going face-first after diving.
Awesome catch! Hopefully he's OK.

That was an incredible catch. I actually do believe he'll go on the DL but I think he'll be back right after the 15 days. I'm not too worried about it. Hopefully Szczur can pick up where he left off. The combination of Bryant/Szczur/Baez/La Stella will be just fine.

That means nothing other than he got scrunched up pretty good slamming into the wall, which anyone could see. That makes me think he is probably just real sore from a pretty hard collision with some possible bruising and aches from internal organs being smushed together unnaturally.

It was an incredible catch. Hopefully he is fine or misses minimal time. I guess looking at it optimistically Jorge is going to get some work for a few days. He looked on point yesterday. At bat and in the field.

15 day DL with a short rehab stint wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. The way he's hitting, I'm not convinced his wrist is 100 percent healthy.

I agree a 15 day DL stint won't be the end of the world, just as long as it isn't anything serious. Remember we thought Schwarber's injury was minor then it turned into season ending, but we will find out soon. Soler can get some time in RF and they can call Szczur up if needed. Either way, that was a helluva catch. As far as Heyward's bat is concerned, he was starting to turn it around. Hopefully he can back on track when he returns.

Not trying to be doom and gloom, just saying you never know until it's official. Judging from his description of the injury, it doesn't sound serious, so I would just expect a 15 day stint. Even if it's more serious, I doubt it's anything season ending.
