couple of post have been made in introduction thread, but this deserves its own thread. this is very very sad lose for Cubbies Fever. before 2016 season Corndog started this board as to get away from the politics and bullying that went on at Cubs.com message board. Cubbies Fever has been a successful board over these years and lets keep it successful for years to come. I think best way to honor Corndog is to use the pic he used and set it as your profile pic. if anyone can think of anything else we can honor him, please share your ideas. thank you 20kman letting us know about Corndog. Corndog, thank you for starting Cubbies Fever. you'll be dearly missed here on this board. now you got best seat from high above to watch the Cubs and help them win another World Series R.I.P. good friend and fellow Cub fan We are all still thinking about ole' Corn Dog even now. Maybe someone with his profile pic start the first GT this year. That would be nice..

Like I said, I am / was friends with Corey on Facebook, but never met him face to face. Over the years, we have interacted on the message boards but I got to know what a really nice cool down to earth guy he really was from what his friends that knew him had to say about him. If you have Facebook and want to read what some of his friends have to say about him, here is his profile: www.facebook.com/corey.sroufe

I don't know how I'm just seeing this for the first time, but I'm heartbroken to hear it. He was one of the good ones. RIP Corey.

Just seeing this for the first time. Along with you Trav he was one of the first people I came across on here. A lot like you, someone I very well respected and enjoyed his presence on here. 39 is way to young to go out. I hope the ones closest to him can find any sort of happiness during this difficult time.

Maybe the best way to remember Corndog is to make this board as friendly, civil, informative, respectful and fun as we can. Too often I've been reminded recently that life is a very finite gift. We should treasure it. Every single day.

We should treasure it. Every single day. Particularly this year we have been reminded with how many celebrity deaths there have already been in the first 2 months. Got to live by that. That is one reason I am headed out on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean next week

We both went out about two weeks ago, knowing we had this cruise lined up, and got booster shots just to try to keep from getting it again. Fingers crossed, but you have to live life
