They already have outscored the opposition by 43 runs 64-21 They have not allowed an un earned run so far.
They lead the league in runs scored averaging 7 runs a game despite losing Schwarber and batting averages from the "big bats" like Bryant .250, Rizzo .182, Heyward .216, Soler .200.
Whats going to happen when these guys actually start hitting?

Agree 100% batman... It's different guys contributing everyday. I mentioned in another thread that if a couple of guys are slumping it seems to go unnoticed bc other guys just step it up... This lineup is vicious from top to bottom and I only see it improving as the weather warms up!

With that kind of production coming from the bottom of their lineup its going to be scary.

Not to get ahead, but I can't wait for the Cubs to face the Cardinals. True test right there.

Another interesting stat that I heard. The Cubs have a better run differential than the 7-2 Orioles, 7-2 White Sox, and 7-1 Washington Nationals. Combined. One more blowout and you can include the Royals in that group.

Yeah it would, but man it would be hard to pick one. Yes it would. Rizzo has been mine for awhile, but Russell is going to be a fan favorite. At this point I would probably vote for Rizzo. Or maybe Bryant. Or Russell. Or Arrieta. Or even Fowler (I love having Fowler on this team). Just so many awesome players who just also happen to be awesome people on this team.

It's also interesting watching Heyward. Nothing he does with the bat really jumps out at you so he is under the radar, but he's just a solid presence in the lineup, in the field and on the base paths. Definitely nice to have someone you can rely on like that.

I advocated for him to get a shot at the rotation when we traded for him, which makes him more special to me.

I thought Arrieta would of made a fine closer on this team when the Cubs got him, He still would be but I think he should stick to starting.

just think what this team is going to do when Heyward, Rizzo, Bryant get hot. Bryant showing signs of his bat coming to life. Rizzo and Heyward can break out at any moment now

He's quickly becoming my favorite player. They just said on the MLB network through 9 games they have the highest run differential in baseball since 1900.
