Thanks BB. I'm Tony, or CubsWinx2 on the Cubs board in homage to one of Harry's favorite calls. Lifelong Cub fan from Dubuque, Iowa now living in Fayetteville, Arkansas. First game in Wrigley was 1967. Have a wife and 2 Cub fan sons in their early 20's. Took them to either Spring Training or Cubs Convention every year as they grew up and and a couple of games either in Wrigley or on the road. Lived in Colorado for a long time so we got to see a lot of games in Denver. Now it's usually St. Louis, KC, or Texas for most road games and Spring Training instead of the Convention.

What part of Wisconsin. I have a brother that lives in Wausau, a nephew in New London and another nephew in med school at Wisonsin-Milwaukee. I live in La Crosse, but I have family all over the state including the Milwaukee/Janesville area. My nephew in med school graduated from Wisconsin-Lacrosse and his bride to be is soon to graduate there. |

Exciting time to be a new Cub fan, they hopefully will not have to endure the early heartbreak and character building experiences that many have had to. Tougher ticket now, so there are always pros and cons, but I'll take this scenario any day. |

I've been a Cubs fan for my entire life! I'm now 60 years old, married, have 3 children and 7 grand children. I grew up in Aurora, IL, but now I live in Nashville, TN. I try to come to Wrigley Field at least once per year to watch a game. This year I have great tickets to watch the Cubs play the Mets in NYC on June 30th.
I'm new to Cubs message boards. Cubs baseball is my deepest passion, but I'm also a fan of the Vols, Titans and predators. Go Cubbies!

I could introduce myself.. I am Tony. Been on the old forum since around 2001 or so.. I really don't remember. I also live in Wisconsin.. No kids. Dont like them or have the patience. Used to be more light-hearted on the forum but grew older and more bitter as the nonsense of the same people started to grate on me. I always wished I could see some of the people who maintained such idiotic characters. Like what does a herbwest look like?

I'm thinking that's exactly what he's hoping for, but I do not want to get into a situation where decisions are made by one person alone (unless it's egregious). Please report anything you deem questionable. It throws it into a file and then the 3 of us vote on the action to be taken. |
