Mets previously signed Julio Teheran to a ($2.5M - Non guaranteed) contract and started him vs the Braves. After 1 start, they DFA'd him.
He has elected Free Agency.
So the Mets paid Teheran $100,000 to Pitch 1 game.

Off topic but while I’m here and about to embark on a journey does anyone have recommendations on lodging to catch a giants game in San Francisco? Not going this trip but the Mrs. Is already planning late summer travel to see redwood trees so I decided to catch Cubs there late September |
