That sucks, bat! Hope insurance doesn't hassle you. Typical home Insurance doesn't cover damage caused by heavy rains. Maybe Bat should tell them a water pipe burst - one hell of a coincidence during a thousand year rain event.. |

Sorry for no top performer updates the last couple days , just taking a break now and checking in , we had what they are calling a thousand year storm and my town Sound Beach have a record 10.18 inch rainfall all in about a 4-5 hour span and we had about 3X that in our finished basement. Will hopefully get back to being able to spend more time on here in a day or two. Damn. Good luck with that. Hope it doesn’t unearth more headaches than already can be expected. |

Yeah , we are in a flood zone in a beach town so we couldn't get flood insurance from anybody and just have to deal with it as part of living here. We've had water come in before but nothing anywhere close to this. |

Hope you only get rain water. As bad as that is to clean up, it is much better than the alternative. |
