and takes 7-9 years to be a contender Yes , when you lose 110 games only 2 years ago and don't sign major free agents and by major, none of these , 68 , 75 million ,85 and 177 million cheap ass stuff counts as major then it will probably take that long . Only way to turn it around is sign one of those guys for 10+ years and 300+ million or you just can't be a contender. then you got to have best record during regular season

They won't but they should reduce the number of regular season games and make each series best of 7.
Watch when they expand two teams and increase the post season participants from 12 to 14 or 16.

Frogs are amphibians, but close enough! Although often called horned toads, horny toads, or even horned frogs because of their wide, flattened bodies (their scientific name Phrynosoma actually means “toad-body”), they are not amphibians like other toads, but are reptiles with scales, claws and young produced on land

I once had a trivia question asking to name all the team mascots that didn't end in s. Crimson Tide, Green Wave, Orangemen, Midshipmen, Cardinal, Phoenix, Fighting Irish, Heat, Magic, etc. That was before the WNBA and Soccer leagues so I can't come up with very many any more.

North Carolina State Wolfpack. Also I think there used to be a WFL team, Chicago Fire.
