Yelich came through with a double in the 9th and set it up with the tying run at the plate. The Brewers version of the Contreras brothers choked on it and struck out.

Phillies won 7-1 and won series Stott had more RBIs than the entire state of Florida had runs. Alos. More if you include the Blue Jay's.

Interesting Stat with the Brewers
In 9 postseason trips, the team that eliminated the Brewers has gone onto the World Series each time.
Guess the Diamondbacks are going to the World Series.
Both Rangers trips to the World Series have started in Tampa.
Omens for a Diamondbacks v Rangers World Series?

you think Cubs collapse is bad? how about the Rays? got off to a very hot start and looked to just runaway with their division. got in as a wild card and are about to be bounced from playoffs That'll happen when you lose your ace to Tommy John and your star SS to a minor. They lost 3 of their top 4 starting pitchers this year, their starting CF, their starting SS & their starting 2nd baseman along with relievers with great ERA's. They had zero chance.

Phillies won 7-1 and won series Not that it is guaranteed or even matters but a consolation being that if the Cubs would have snuck in & replaced the Marlins in the Wild card I feel confident that we would have ended the season with the same outcome.

At this point I question the Braves being heavy favorites in this next series against the Phillies. They have an issue with both Max & Morton & starting pitching is important against that potentially high powered Philly offense..

Just checked and am elated to see both the Brewers and Marlins have already been eliminated. Same, especially the Blue Turds. Now just want to see the Dodgers and D-Bags gone (I know, both can't happen this round, but eventually).
Would like to see Orioles and Phillies in the WS.

For me, in the AL, if not the Twins, then the O's. Oddly enough, other than the Dodgers not making it, I don't really care who gets to the series from the other three NL teams. I want the AL to win the series unless it's the Astros. They still get my middle finger for the foreseeable future for the trash can scandal.
