Starting in 2023 every team will at least play each other at least once per season. I like that. I am a proponent of getting rid of divisions entirely and do a fully balanced schedule 48 IL games. 60 Outside your division. 54 within your division. That’s my guess

Per multiple sources Cubs vs Cards in London in 2023 2 game series. The way it should be, bring over the most popular teams.

Having more games against established rivals really garners greater interest, and having to play everyone else's cellar dwellers doesn't exactly excite me.

I'd rather see the Cubs and Yankees playing a 3 game series every year over a 6th series of games 17.18 and 19 vs the Pirates. I'd rather be able to see Trout play against the Cubs vs a 6th series seeing Votto play against the Cubs.

I like divisions, and divisional games mean more than games out of the division. However, I do enjoy seeing the Cubbies play in American league ball parks, and American league teams playing in Wrigley.

I am with you, I love the divisional games because they mean more but I am down seeing the rest of the AL teams though out the year too. It is a good way to try to bring more interest in other teams markets and a extra chance every other year I can see the Cubs when they come to Oakland.

Thank goodness the CBA negotiations are over. It really does not get much more boring than that.

I lean toward getting rid of the divisions and making it a more even schedule for all of the teams, although I do see your point. Though even with an even schedule, you still can't control hitting a team when they are hot while some other teams may roll over that same team. One big advantage I see with getting rid of divisions is not having to play the cardinals 18-19 times

I want the Cubs to play the Cards 18 times a year. It's one of the best rivalries in baseball.

I don't mind trying to eliminate the 18 inning game, But I think a homerun derby face off would of been better.

Just end games in ties after the 9th out of supposed player safety. Would be better than this gimmick.
Managerial moves such steal attempts, pinch hitters, pinch runners etc would have more of a bearing.

Managers would know they wouldn't ever have to burn their bullpens for several innings or more. Save a lot on injuries. Game management would be much easier and fans would know when the game will end.
