So should we starting worry about the Reds? they just knocked down the Brewers who were red hot.
Also well done Marlins for taking advantage of a broken down Cardinals team, they better suck for the Cubs too.

While the Board was shakin' in their boots, Rockies Starter Germain Marquez (trade target) was wheelin' & dealin'. Marquez surrendered 1 Hit to the Brewers, through 6 IP @ Coors Field and helped the Cubs out. The Cardinals have scored 9 Runs in their last 6 games, dating back to the Hendricks game. In an Era where everyone needs Starters, Shohei Ohtani (3-1) went 6 IP and surrendered 1 Run. 53.1 IP / 73 K / 2.70 And he batted too, as the Angels eschewed the DH and won. And on their Re-Opening Day - In front of 40,000 With everybody at the park, talkin Playoffs... Pierce Johnson gets the win

In a wild one: Kyle Schwarber hits HR #19 & K's 3 times. His 3 Run Homer ties the game. Starlin Castro gets hits #1694, 1695 & 1696 - Ties game in 9th. Trea Turner ups his average to .315 with 3 hits. Josh Bell busts out with GS.
Phils score 9 in first 5 innings Nats total 11 in 5th & 6th Nats win in extras.

Quite a brawl. Junior Lake. Now there's a name I hadn't heard in awhile. I'm sure all teams have the AAAA players but it sure seems like the Cubs have had their share of guys who were supposed to light the league on fire but fizzled out. Lake, Pie, Cedeno to name a few. While the brawl is going on near the pitcher's mound, a helmet flies and it looks like (I don't know the politically correct term here) a little person chases it down. Or an overweight kid?

Trevor bauer under investigation for assault of a woman earlier in the year. Wut. Something about rough sex. Wut.
No way.
Trev-bow has texts where the woman continually asked for rough sex. When the girl has a concussion (possibly), it mighta been too rough. Pretty unusual story here.

Ohtani’s last 13 games:
.327/.411/1.082/1.492, 11 homeruns, 18 RBIs and his batting average on balls in play is .227, which means he should be hitting BETTER.
3 starts, 2-1, 17 IP, 2.21 ERA, 22 SO, 5 BB
Dude is insane

Lol, NL sucks. Every year I hope they'll surprise me and actually win an all star game, and every year I'm disappointed. And they usually don't even hit. Its like watching the Cubs. Very depressing.

KB left 5 men on tonight in 2 at bats, though robbed there. Swung at 3-0 which is interesting with the pitcher having control problems.
