Hunter is competing with Angel lol to be the worst umpire. I'm not sure if the video linked shows it or not because I did not watch it , some videos make it look like it was totally out of nowhere. But right before it happened Boone was yelling at the ump and he got warned if he says one more word he's gone.

This keeps getting better. Boone is warned not to say another word. He doesn’t, but a fan behind him is talking shit and the ump throws Boone out. When Boone comes storming out and tells him “I don’t say a word,” you can hear the ump say, “I don’t care if you did or didn’t, you’re out!”
These fucking umps.

Crazy. If I were a fan of that team I would be PULLING my hair out of my head, throwing furniture outy windows… it has to beyond unwatchable.

Going to have to monitor the Pirates here. I caught most of that game, was my first look at Jared Jones and he was really sharp. Big time fastball and slider. Went 6.0 innings, 1 earned run with 7 strikeouts. Fourth straight game to start his career that he had a minimum 7 strikeouts.
If he can stay healthy alongside Skenes when he gets the summons Pittsburgh will have at least two very strong arms atop their rotation.

They were not that bad last season and got Cruz back and I think the change of scenery for Joey Bart they may have gotten a steal there. Jones is legit , they have 4 pitchers in the top 100 prospects Skenes # 3 Jones #62 Solometo #82 Chandler # 93 6 of their top 10 are pitchers all in AA or above

Dylan Cease through his first 5 non-White Sox starts:
29.2 ip 1.82 era 0.742 whip 10.6 k/9 0.9 war
Maybe there is something to the idea of simply getting good talents out from the shithole that has become the Southside and letting them work in happier, healthier environments. If I could snag any one of their players right now I’d want it to be Kopech. Has all the makings of a big time late inning reliever but has had so many health issues. Could be a strong change of scenery candidate with good team control remaining.

I'd offer them Canario, Wisdom and Madrigal , that's 3 bats that could help their pathetic offense right now that they would not have to pay a whole lot.

Kopech not going anywhere until at least the AS break. Plus, that's asking the Sox to take on like 2.2 million in salary by trading Kopech. Sox aren't taking on any more money. They'll get much more for Kopech at the deadline.
