Wow, they need to lock him in a room and sit him down and make him watch all his at bats in the 2018 season. They say Baez uses video probably more than anyone else so you’d think he’s seen that.. maybe the video people edit out him swinging at very bad pitches and only have him watch the ones he hits HR's

Yankees deadline moves not looking all that great . Bader still has not played, Montgomery has turned into Cy Young with an 0.35 ERA in 4 starts for STL Montas 9.00 ERA in 3 starts for them Effross gives them 8 innings and has a shoulder issue

Hard to say who did worse, the Yankees or the Brewers moves..

Can't read it m you need to subscribe , but I'm not surprised to see stories like this. But he has 6 more years after this to make things look better. I still really like Bryant and hate to see such bad press. I don't blame him for not biting on an extension , his reasoning was not over feeling disrespected with a low ball offer or like he was owed something unlike our former 1B felt It was him not wanting to sell himself short at that point in his career , so I respect that.

You can do a Control A then copy the text and paste into something else before the blocker kicks in. But it's nothing you haven't read before.
I like KB but this is more of the same of what we saw here the past few years.

And that's why over time I became ok with them moving on from him. Too many games missed, or if he wasn't missing them he wasn't playing at full health or at times as the years went by I felt he also got too soft and would not play with the slightest of ailments and had more late line up scratches than any Cubs I can remember and he wasn't exaclty a dependable clutch RBI guy anymore either. While I loved these guys for years , KB, Rizzo, Baez and thought I'd really miss them when they were gone , I don't. The only guy I really miss and this might sound odd because he wasn't here all that long is Darvish, I really liked him being a Cub.

Wow, Joc really cooled down after that hot start. I'll be curious to see what Rizzo and Schwarber's batting average and RBI numbers look like next year when the shift is gone.

It should really help Rizzo and pit him back to atleast around the 260's but I don't know how much it will matter to Schwarber if he's striking out 200 times.

So how many more wins do you all think the cubs would have had if they had kept the "core" together? I say 15-25 and not a legitimate contender.

Not even close to 15-25 , not many of those guys are more productive than the players who replaced them. The only ones doing real well are Darvish , Williams and Chafin . Rizzo's numbers look good, but are very inflated by Yankee stadium's short RF porch . Bryant played well this season when he's played , but that's not been often . Baez is a complete mess at the plate with a pathetic OBP nowhere near .300 , he's still making the El Mago plays but he also already has tied his career high in errors. Schwarber is very Wisdom like HR or K

How many more wins would we have if Miley was never hurt and Stroman pitched like he did in the past? 5+?
