Exactly. I recommend just blocking that weasel... no need to provide an audience for his public masturbation...
Anyway, it IS pretty amazing to see the roster turnover.

Why should anyone be blocked? Posters that violate the rules should disappear. Period. Anyway, this current Cubs opening day roster is the most exciting group in a long time. 1 hour to go.....

Because being a passive-aggressive shit-stirrer whose only intent is to annoy and to get attention is not against the rules.

Because being a passive-aggressive shit-stirrer whose only intent is to annoy and to get attention is not against the rules. Then that breaks rules 4 and 6 and the moderators will take care of it. Anyway, my wife bought me a Schwarber shirt, which I have on now, so look for him to have a monster game.

"Anyway, my wife bought me a Schwarber shirt, which I have on now, so look for him to have a monster game. " Oh hell all my Cubs shirts are packed, I'm going on vacation to Colorado in a couple days. I guess a hat, some vienna all beefs and a few cold ones are going to be my good luck charm.

I have my "Bricks and Ivy" shirt on. I bought a ''F**K THE GOAT'' shirt a couple of years ago from one of those dudes that sell shirts outside of Wrigley. Had lots of complements on it. I need to get some of those ''Maddon shirts'' now.

I used to buy one every year when we went back to the Chicago area to visit and I stopped doing it because I noticed a trend happening. First one was Wood , second was Prior, third was Nomar and the last was Lee , seems the year I would buy them the player ended up with a major injury.

He's trying to say that he wants to be able to make such claims without being called on it. Not trying to stir up any hard feelings but I don't recall him saying anything like that either. That aside, his claims have nothing to do with the baseball conversation. Let's steer this conversation away from hardslide and back to the topic. Nobody is interested in whether HS 'thinks' he predicted something or not. If you don't recall, then that's on you. Maybe you were taking a nap. And I was wide awake when I made those prognostications, I "know" (not think) I made as such. My commentary surely has relevance to current Cubs baseball discourse. Nothing wrong at all with pointing such out. And steer all you want, but, like EF Hutton, when good ol' hardslide posts, posters listen. Any more thread derailments and you are gone. This is your final chance. Talk baseball. If you want to do that other stuff, keep it on the other board. Thanks!

Funny thing is, I recall posting on the Cubs Mother Board maybe 3-4-5 years ago, can't remember exactly how long it has been, but I had posted that the next Cubs team to actually win a WS, or at least participate in one, the roster would be entirely different from whatever the current roster was at that time. A complete turnover. Looks like good ol' hardslide has that crystal ball working and functioning in true order! You needed a "Crystal ball"? Everybody with at least one functioning brainwave knew that it would take an entirely different line up , not only to get to or win a WS , but to even compete and play .500 ball. So yeah , pat yourself on the back for that bold prediction and be proud ! yea the idea of a rebuild should tell everyone that the roster on the field is full of short term placeholders. not exactly surprising.
